In time-domain computations, standard periodic boundary conditions cannot be used directly when incident fields come at oblique incidence. This problem can be overcome with the use of a continuous field transform, after which the transformed fields respect the standard PBC. The study of this transformation and the properties of the resulting DGTD scheme are summed up in a submitted paper.
